Tyler Edwards, Performance Psychologist (SEPiT)
I founded TESportPsyche with the aim to help athletes, coaches or those simply trying to improve their performance in their own walk of life by providing the tools missing from their toolbox to perform at the highest level.
I have worked with athletes from regional to international level to perform at their best no matter the situation, overcoming challenges which are seen at grassroots and professional level. No matter the ability level or age, the tools and techniques you’ll take away will benefit your level of performance and help you take that next step towards success.
Based in Hertfordshire, my core areas of expertise include performance psychology, promoting behaviour change, leadership development, mental toughness or resilience training and self-regulating emotions and thinking patterns.
My Approach
Autonomy
supporting people to make their own informed choices and take ownership of their development
Happiness
Helping individuals build a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with performance and wellbeing.
I’m a Performance Psychologist who helps athletes and performers better understand themselves, manage the demands of performance and develop skills they can use when it matters most.
A big part of my work is helping people recognise the connection between their thoughts, feelings and actions, and how these can influence performance. From there, we develop practical strategies that fit the individual, their sport and the situations they face.
Ultimately, my aim is not to create reliance on a psychologist. I want the people I work with to develop the self-awareness, confidence and skills to manage challenges independently, both within performance and beyond it.
Service
Uing my skills to genuinely support others’ growth, development and long-term wellbeing.
Integrity
Working honestly, transparently and in line with strong ethical and professional standards.
Safety
Creating a supportive, non-judgemental space where people feel secure to explore challenges
